How are your bars
made? |
|
| |
Origin Glass bars are formed by compacting a
granular borosilicate glass powder at high pressures. While the standard
shape is a 0.25” square bar approximately 3.5” in length,
the material can be formed into virtually any shape.
Following pressing, the bars are sintered at high temperatures to
make them solid and burn of any impurities. Our process yields a high
quality consistent glass product. |

What can I do with Glass Powder? |
|
| |
Granular glass powder can be molded into
virtually any shape and fired in an air atmosphere to create a dense
form. It can also be applied to a shape with matching expansion and
sintered to make a coating. |
